Belmar Solutions
Belmar Solutions
Our Belmar pharmacists work with a variety of medications, carefully compounding them to meet the needs of our customers. This list of medication options is an introduction to some of the drugs we provide to help physicians treat their patients’ health conditions and support their wellness and vitality.
Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)
Bioidentical hormones have the exact molecular structure as natural human hormones and function the same. BHRT can be used to balance hormones that affect menopause and andropause symptoms, enabling men and women to reclaim their health and realize their optimal lifestyle.
Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)
Naltrexone is a strong opioid antagonist, originally prescribed for opioid or alcohol dependence. Low doses of the medication have been found to increase the body’s production of endorphins, chemicals best known for relieving pain and enhancing a sense of well-being. Low dose naltrexone can also help regulate the immune system and have anti-inflammatory effects. This makes it useful as part of the treatment protocol for many conditions.
Thyroid Medications
The thyroid gland produces triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4). The versions of these hormones that we provide are produced synthetically or extracted from pig thyroids. These medications are used to supplement low levels in people with hypothyroidism.
Oxytocin
Oxytocin is a neurotransmitter normally produced in the hypothalamus and released by the posterior lobe of the pituitary gland. It aids in childbirth and lactation and plays a role in male reproduction. Studies also have found that it impacts social interaction and supports sexual arousal, trust, and bonding. It also may help in treating anxiety, stress, and other issues.
Acetyl-Glutathione
Glutathione is an important antioxidant that can prevent and reduce cell damage caused by free radicals, heavy metals, and other chemicals. Glutathione levels in the body may be reduced by poor nutrition, environmental toxins, and stress. Its levels also decline with age. Acetyl-Glutathione survives well in the digestive tract and increases levels of glutathione in the body to support good health and help treat a variety of conditions.
Sermorelin
Sermorelin is a growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH). A GHRH, also called a growth hormone secretagogue, may help stimulate the pituitary gland to release endogenous growth hormone. Growth hormone is vital to many cellular pathways within the body, and its reduction over time is thought to have a meaningful influence on the aging process.
